“Presentiments” at The Rubin Center, co-curated by Adán Vallecillo and Laura Augusta

This exhibition, co-curated by the artist Adán Vallecillo and the curator Laura Augusta, takes root in the larger conversation of influence. How do conversations between artists develop? Where is artistic influence born?

As a starting point to answer these questions, Vallecillo and Augusta brought together eleven artists whose work has been key in developing each co-curator’s respective artistic and intellectual processes.

“Presentiments” will be open to the public from January 25th to April 20th 2024 at the Stanlee and Gerald Rubin Center for the Visual Arts (500 W University Ave, El Paso, TX 79902).
